Islamabad is a very secure city to live in. It includes many secure communities like Bahria Town, DHA and PWD with very vigilant security at the doorway and way out.

There are many companies offering services for personal security and guards etc in Islamabad.

Multiple Police outposts are designated after every few yards. Traffic police as well as Islamabad police is vigilant 24 hours at their service.

To keep Islamabad safe the project Safe City has been established where 1,800 surveillance cameras have been installed across in 2016. The project has been established to improve the security of Islamabad and minimize the crime.

Furthermore majority of the ministries are established in Islamabad, Embassies have been allotted a separate place known as Diplomatic Enclave for security purposes and to ease the process.

One more reason of its security is that the Red Zone area is located in Islamabad where there are most sensitive authorities, ministries and directorates.
